CHINT won the 2MW solar project in Ghana

CHINT's first EPC project in Sub-saharan Africa, the 2MW ground solar power plant has landed in Ghana, providing clean energy for Premium Food Limited's new plant. The project is the first successful multi-million dollar ground solar power project after the donated 10kW roof project in Ghana institute of engineers.

Previously, CHINT's major commercial rooftop projects in Ghana ranged in size from 500kW to 1MW. The breakthrough comes from the continuous deep cultivation in the Ghana market and the support of key cooperative customers.

In Ghana, CHINT has carried out in-depth cooperation with key customers such as Anglogold, Coca-Cola and GHPA. The owner of the 2MW plant is Premium Food Limited, a processing company of United Nations World Food Program (WFP) in Ghana, West Africa.

At present, the project is in installation and will be finished in May this year. The successful implementation and interconnection of the project will create more opportunities for CHINT in Ghana's new energy sector.
